It’s 30 years since Barrie Smith and Judi Cullam planted the first vines on the iconic Isolation Ridge vineyard in Frankland River. Over time, this warm, thoughtful, pioneering family has become known as one of Australia’s great Riesling producers – as well as one of the grape’s most important ambassadors as founder of Riesling Downunder. At the same time, the silky, perfumed, elegant Shiraz and Cabernet that come from this site have also established themselves as some of the finest in Western Australia. Organic farming, an open-minded, generous-hearted family and a pristine environment have proved to be a winning combination.
