2013 Moric Sankt Georgen Grüner Veltliner
Moric
The most focused, pure and mineral of Moric's three whites from this vintage. Has a lemon peel aspect to wine as well. Nice driven acidity through the palate that allows the wine to push onto some very good, citrus-flavoured length.

Herbal papaya and muskmelon aromas are delicately laced by mint and orange zest and complicated by verbena, dill and a touch of acacia honey. Rich in the mouth but with a very firm structure of chalky minerality, this Grüner Veltliner also has nicely integrated oak and refreshing acidity. Unctuous and deep, Sankt Georgen finishes on white pepper and lemon zest, with more structure than the Müllendorf.

Light yellow-gold in the glass, this barrel sample smells of chamomile and wet stones, fennel pollen, and lemon oil. In the mouth, electric neon lemon oil shimmers and crackles on the palate with fantastic minerality and great length. Lemon pith, wet stones, and chamomile linger in the finish.
