Joe Holyman and Steve Lubiana are two of Tasmania’s most highly-regarded winemakers, and they’re coming together for one exclusive evening of fine wine and exquisite food at Old Wharf Restaurant.
Hailing from a pedigree of four decades of family grape-growing history, Joe’s wines are characterized by a creativity and fearlessness that push the envelope. Likewise, Steve has been surrounded by vines and wines since day dot, and his sought-after drops are the result of an unrelenting quest for perfection.
Both are legends of their craft, and both present a unique and distinctive character in their wines, where great terroir is king and the fruit comes first.
Join us for a unique dining experience where you will have the chance to meet Joe and Steve and pit their wines against each other, alongside a sumptuous four-course menu of local produce curated by MACq 01 Hotel’s Executive Chef Simon Pockran. Beginning with Stefano Lubiana NV Brut Sparkling and canapes in Evolve Spirits Bar, you will then be treated to six matched wines from both the Joe Holyman and Lubiana portfolios from the comfort of Old Wharf Restaurant’s waterfront location.
