Gone are the days of the Contiki-style pub crawls where the night begins with shots and ends in tears. We’re all grown up now and a sophisticated version – Kiwi style – is where it’s at.
Central Otago superstar Burn Cottage is one of eight producers featured in this Pinot Walkabout, where participants take in three great wine bars, enjoy a flight of New Zealand Pinot at each, all expertly matched to a signature dish by our rockstar venues.
With 45 minutes at each location, you’ll have plenty of time to sniff, swirl and sample the wines and hear a little about the region and producers we’ve selected presented by our “tour leaders”.
When our time is up, the Pinot bell will ring and the Walkabout will set off for the next venue.
