Giuseppe Vaira of G.D. Vajra and Luigi Baudana will be pouring and chatting his way through a range of wines from these two great Barolo estates at this free tasting for wine trade and the general public.
The far-sighted and adventurous Vaira family is renowned for fusing respect for tradition with an adaptive streak. Thus Giuseppe will be showing historic Piedmont styles such as Barolo, Freisa and alongside a white field blend, nouveau-style Nebbiolo and a Riesling that’s far finer than it has any right to be.
