CellarHand Lands Fish In Tassie & South Australia

We’re delighted to announce the arrival of a new account manager to cover Tasmania & South Australia. Tassie born and bred, Michael Fisher joined CellarHand earlier this month and hit the ground in his new territory on Monday, 22nd January. It’s the first time CellarHand has had a dedicated account manager for Tasmania and South Australia, and a great opportunity for us to better attend to your needs.
Michael – or ‘Fish’ as he’s known – brings with him a tremendous love of wine and deep familiarity with the CellarHand portfolio and our producers. Fish learned his trade as sommelier at The Source Restaurant at MONA, becoming certified in 2013 before taking the Head Sommelier role at Me Wah, the famous Chinese restaurant in Hobart. From there he joined one of Melbourne’s sharpest wine teams at Grossi Florentino. His move home to the Apple Isle follows a 14-month stint as Negociants’ import leader for Victoria and Tasmania.
In Tasmania, Fish will be working with the entire CellarHand import list, as well as the following domestic producers in Tasmania: Mount Mary / Wantirna Estate / Yeringberg / Chalmers / By Farr / Farr Rising / Philippa Farr / Punt Road / Airlie Bank / Onannon / Shadowfax / clos Clare / Geoff Weaver / Balnaves / Nocturne / Frankland Estate / Rocky Gully / Charteris / Burn Cottage / Scorpo / Irrewarra / Huia / Hunky Dory / Wairau River / Te Whare Ra / Riverlore / Delta.
The domestic producer list for South Australia comprises: Wantirna Estate / Yeringberg / Punt Road / Airlie Bank / Onannon / Shadowfax / Nocturne / Frankland Estate / Rocky Gully / Charteris / Burn Cottage / Scorpo / Wairau River / Te Whare Ra / Riverlore / Delta.
