The hits keep on coming for the de Pury family, who continue to reap rewards for their unstinting devotion to their special vineyard. A finalist in the Winery of the Year category of the Halliday Wine Companion awards, Yeringberg’s flag-bearing red was named Australia’s best Cabernet blend.
The 2024 edition of this wine will not be released until February 2027. The good news is that we still have reasonable stocks of the 97-point 2023, itself a runner-up in this category last year. In addition, we have the last remaining bottles of museum wines from 2021, 2020 and 2015.

2023 Yeringberg ‘Yeringberg’
A blend of 61/13/12/8/6% cabernet sauvignon/merlot/cabernet franc/malbec/petit verdot from vines planted at this historic site from 1969–2000. A bright crimson purple. A wonderfully complex and perfumed bouquet redolent of blackcurrants and wild blackberry together with new pencil box shavings, sweet spice and crushed violets. Medium bodied, in the best sense of the term, with the fruit, oak and seamless tannins coming together as one. 2021 Yeringberg ‘Yeringberg’ LAST STOCKS!
A blend of 58/14/14/9/5% cabernet sauvignon/cabernet franc/merlot/petit verdot/malbec. Matured 20 months in French barriques (35% new). Bright crimson purple. From a great year, this is a beautifully fragrant and seductive Yeringberg with its aromas of blackcurrants, blueberries, cherry blossom, violets and just the right amount of oak-derived cedar and pencil-shaving scents. The epitome of medium bodied, it’s elegant, discreet and persistent on the palate, even at this early juncture. Equally important, the fruit is perfectly framed by the wine’s fine-grained and silky tannins and, as has been demonstrated on many occasions, this will mature slowly and gracefully. 98 points. 2020 Yeringberg ‘Yeringberg’ LAST STOCKS!
A blend of 61/10/10/10/9% cabernet sauvignon/cabernet franc//merlot/petit verdot/malbec from vines planted at this historic winery from 1969-2000. Matured 19 months in French barrique (39% new). A medium and bright ruby red. Even in a cooler year, this always great wine delivers the goods. Aromas of subtle cranberry, blackberries and brambly blackberry leaf, together with a little clove and fresh vanilla bean from the well-handled oak. Medium bodied and beautifully poised, this has fine, elegant tannins contributing to a wine that, as delicious as it is now, boasts a track record that means you can cellar it for as long as you have the patience to do so. 2015 Yeringberg ‘Yeringberg’ LAST STOCKS!
From a ripe and approachable vintage with plenty of depth, this 2015 Yeringberg is a showpiece of great Bordeaux-esque style. Aromas of blackcurrants, red plums, red cherries and red flowers are augmented by the lightly leafy and earthy cabernet characters. The palate delivers a very fleshy, silky and powerful array of ripe red cherries, plums and blueberries in a silky, concentrated guise.
