About Dalwhinnie
About Julian Langworthy
Julian Langworthy took over the reins as Chief Winemaker for Dalwhinnie in 2020, and along with Viticulturalist Sam Bartlett, has taken the wines to new heights. Regarded as one of the most talented winemakers in Australia, with awards such as the Jimmy Watson Trophy and Winemaker of the Year for Halliday & Ray Jordan, it’s fair to say Dalwhinnie is in very safe hands.Passionate about producing regionally distinctive wines, Julian’s drive and vision has led Dalwhinnie down an award-winning path, finessing and capturing the unique terroir that surrounds them. Along with Sam’s (nearly) 2-decade experience in the Pyrenees region, these two superstars have produced some seriously important wines that rank not only as some of the best wine in Australia, but as some of the best wine in the world.
