Strawberry and redcurrant, a slight smokiness, and green herb. Fresh style, all about acid drive, crunch and juicy blood orange tang. Chalkiness on a tart and lively finish. More a white wine style of Rosé, but good energy here.

In a world of overhyped rosé, here’s a pristine, flavoursome, tightly focused and refreshing expression from Pittnauer. Its floral bouquet of raspberries, red cherries and a whiff of citrus oil overlies a hint of meatiness. Long and brightly lit, with a juiciness that is never rich or cloying, its charmingly vivacious palate is underpinned by a fine chalkiness, finishing with a tangy, lemony acidity. It’s a delightful combination of flavour, freshness and brightness.
