Charteris
Winemaker’s Notes
Bright Ruby/Garnet with vibrancy. Intense and abundant nose with volumes of ripe
raspberries, spiced plums and forest herbs. Background cinnamon and nutmeg with
some dark cherry. Some gravelly, mineral like aromas adding layers and complexity.
Berries of the forest!!!! Great depth and intensity compact but full. Forest berries
carry onto the palate with abundance and depth. Some ripe Satsuma plums and
cinnamon/nutmeg spice woven into the silky texture. Generous through the mid
palate with persistent acidity and fine tannin driving the finish. The thyme and
floral stamp of the Winter Vineyard breezing through the final breath of the wine.
Incredible length with persistence. Lingers infinitely.
