About Clos Venturi

Clos Venturi was born from a father's belief in his son's vision, talent and passion. After spending many years revitalising Domaine Vico, Jean-Marc Venturi entrusted his son, Manu, with an isolated 28-hectare vineyard within their mountainous Corsican estate. Working in symbiosis with Domaine Vico, Clos Venturi wines are an expression of a single plot of unique soils from a plot that is cooler and instinctively 'different' to the rest of the estate with its own distinct biodiversity. This unique, completely preserved and wild site is where Manu's deep connection to the land, and commitment to organic and biodynamic farming work towards preserving Corsica's natural beauty. Set at 400m above sea level, surrounded by wild forest and mountains, the wines are vibrant and mineral-rich - a true reflection of Corsica's rugged, untamed spirit.

About Manu Venturi

Raised amidst the vines, Manu Venturi grew up working alongside his father, Jean-Marc, who took on the challenge of revitalising Domaine Vico in 1986. Although Manu initially pursued studies in law and sustainable tourism, his deep-rooted connection to Corsica brought him back in the late 1990s. Working side-by-side with his father, Manu is serious about committing his life to the land. Practises such as introducing sheep and chickens to the vineyard, providing natural fertiliser and weed control alongside beehives to further improve biodiversity and ecological balance are just a small part of Manu’s commitment to this site.
